17 year old kid shot dead by Neighborhood Watch "Captain"

There were 2 idiots out there that night. One was trying to be the sheriff of the neighborhood and the other quite possibly over reacted to Barney Fife getting up in his bidness.

Heh, I saw someone in my neighborhood that I didn't recognize. I didn't question them or shoot them...hell, I didn't even confront them. I figured that maybe, just maybe, they were visiting someone.


PS. They were the color of Martin in a neighborhood that is 99.9% the color of Casper the Friendly Ghost. Must be my neighbors aren't waterheads either because they didn't come out implying the guy didn't belong or come out ready to shoot. The guy waved when I was out having a cigar and he was walking down the sidewalk after he was done visiting...almost pulled my gun at that point but I just gave him a dirty look and kicked my dog.

If I made that hand purple, we'd have to cut it off.

According to the coroner Martin was an abuser of this drug. The drug can cause aggressive behavior, paranoia, etc.

Does anyone know if this is true? That he had a watermelon drink with him instead of ICe Tea? That would explain his agression or at least bring it into question.

I stopped reading about the story after 2 weeks of it being in the headlines and here on INGO becuase there was just so much info, dis-info, etc. I figured I would come back to it once it went to trial if it made it that far. So you can consider me 'almost typical america'.

Many of my co-workers still think the image of 'young' TM is what he looked like when he died. Also most of my co-workers think GZ said something to the effect of "this black kids" when he only stated black due to the operator asking for race/color.

I know better so that is why my "almost".
Did not know about the drink which just paints TM is more of a bad light I would say.

I say it makes you a concerned neighbor. There are those who would say he has the right to do this. In my mind if it looks like a case out for available goody's and smells like a case out then, well, you know what the hell it is.

In my area even the folks of color (PC enough I hope) will beat you down if they catch you in the yard looking at their stuff.

also, do you realize what he went to the store for? watermelon drink and skittles. these are mixed with cough syrup to get "crunk". its what caused Lil Wayne to pass out on stage a few weeks ago, of course he immediately covered it with an "epilepsey" story.
