indyjohn your M-14 looks real good

    Thanks!

It's a NM model from the '90s. I wrapped the SS barrel in non-reflective gaffer's tape and since this picture have added this cheek rest. It works VERY well.

    Cheek Piece, Adjustable, Comb Piece

I need your VX-2 gunman with about 70 minutes of elevation because Bassett stopped making his mounts with built in elevation. If I had that, I'd easily make minute of man out to 1000 yds.

At $1,428 for the ARMSCORP M-14 with SPRINGFIELD ARMORY scope mount & 4-14x56 scope i though it was a deal he is the link for a scope like what's on the rifle for sale Springfield Armory Scope 7.62 4x14X56mm VG-EX : Gun Scopes at GunBroker.com

The thing about this auction link is it has not sold. It's just being relisted with a gouge opening bid. IMHO that made in Japan scope is not worth $800.

If the mags are GI and not some aftermarket junk then that will be a plus.

For what you paid you could have gotten a real Springfield but sounds like you already have some and really wanted this one. Also wondering is there a crack in that plastic stock near the wrist?

After doing some more research that Springfield scope seems to be worth in the $300 to $500 range. So with that in mind I say you paid what the whole package is worth. If the mags are some uncommon USGI manufacturer then it starts to become a much better deal. Best of luck to you.
