No-one's obligated to talk to a cop if you haven't done anything, (and walking on the wrong side of the road is hardly a crime. Hell, even I wouldn't stop. Might not run, but if I'm minding my own business he can go pound sand).

He was conducting an investigation into a unoccupied and/or suspicious vehicle (the truck right by her). He had no idea what the situation was and was simply trying to find out if it belonged to her. If I were a law enforcement officer in this situation, my first instinct would be to make contact with the woman because it appeared she was having car trouble. Her actions, based on training and experience based on the facts and circumstances of this rapidly evolving situation warranted further investigation. She had every right to remain silent during the officers investigation if she desired, but running from the police does not constitute exercising that right.

I don't know why everybody is so hung up on the whole "wrong side of the road" thing, he had plenty of RAS to make contact with the woman regarding the vehicle.

What? YOU'RE the one responsible for the Dark Side existing?

Yes, I am responsible for the OTHER SIDE in any discussion. It gets them so mad that they babble.

Try putting yourself in a woman's shoes and consider how many male predators they have to avoid on a regular basis.

Ahhh, someone joing the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney over the weekend. So, all males are guilty, huh?

I ran from the police because they were going to rape me. 19 years and have not heard that one . . . until I went on INGO.:D

Remember, men, on INGO you are presumed guilty here.

    Run faster next time, lady.

INGO, where breaking the law is a political argument and sage advice.

Yeah, sure, turn an infraction into a misdemeanor. Brilliant tactic, Rommel.

    Hell, even I wouldn't stop.

You want to turn an infraction into a misdemeanor?

    How about this?

    1. Don't look like a burglar scouting houses.

    2. Don't react like a burglar.

    3. Obey the law, walk on the sidewalk or the proper side of the road. It's not your world.

    4. If they pooooleece say stop, you stop.

    5. Shut your baconhole. No one buys that she was "askeered". Proverbs 28:1.

    Warning, EXTREME FOUL LANGUAGE:

Stop when the police say stop?

But, but that's not what the LLMs with 35 years of experience at INGO tell me. Shouldn't I just run away from the police? If you skip to 2:40 in your video, you see the correct INGO response, right?

    1. Police tell me to stop.
    2. I ran away real fast.
    3. *Magic happens here*
    4. Profit.
    5. Ron Paul is then elected President.

    That's the correct sequence, right?

Sounds good to me. Should I print and distribute this?

Soooo... All any criminal, regardless of their crime, has to do is run from the cops and claim they have a "cop phobia"?!? . That makes everything ok?

Regardless of what anyone here thinks of the law, it IS a Law in TX. She broke that law. And when the LEO tried to question her about it, she ran from him. In what universe is is ok to run from a LEO after you have broken the law?!? And then not expect ANY adverse reaction on the part of the LEO.

The citizen wasn't doing anything illegal, Yeah I know she was walking down the wrong side of the road, but the cop felt compelled to harass her. She might actually have an irrational fear of police and yes she embellished her story but I don't think we should support his decision to chase her down and cuff her. I've read many threads on here and watched many videos of "patriots" refusing to provide identification to various police forces at "immigrant checkpoints", or walking down the side of the road with an AR15 slung over his back while hiking with his son so to see so many on here support the actions of said officer is both ironic and humorous!

If her cumulative experiences are anything similar with mine, she may have a perfectly rational fear.

Without these stupid insignificant laws how would police catch bad guys? If you cannot just stop everyone and say papers please it makes it hard for them to catch the bad guys.
