    Between corn and soybean fields.
I wanted a username that was different than the username I use on other forums. I usually create a new name for each forum I post on unless it's a forum related to the industry I work in, then I use the same name on those which is different than what I have here.

It's just a way of keeping my 'professional' life and personal life separate.

I couldn't think of a name for INGO and I had recently watched The Big Lebowski again, so here we are.

Since October 1998, all four cars I've bought have been Thunderbirds. My first two were a 1987 and a 1994... Both red. Hence, Redtbird. Still have a dark green 96 and a "multi-color" 97.

Possibly the dumbest thing you'll see all day.

I've carried a handgun for 40 years. Over that time, I've seen techniques and tactics change and improve, and try to incorporate those 'modern' techniques when/wherever possible. So, 'ModernGunner'.

Well, now I REALLY feel old! I thought this screen name was a reference to the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters:

Ha! Well, actually that played a part as well... :)

I don't remember where I heard it first. I think I heard/read somebody berating somebody as a "God fearing, gun toting, something-something-something...." I thought--yeah, that pretty much describes me, so I snagged it. I'm glad I didn't keep the rest of it!

Mine was after the COPO Camaros. I love Camaros and the COPO is one of the best ones.

Waaaay back in '98, I found a little gem of a racing game for the original PlayStation called TOCA Championship Racing. Excellent racing physics - including car damage - and realistic and challenging AI, real world tracks and it had a in-car view that was unparalleled at the time. If I could find a copy of it, I could probably still drive the Brands Hatch circuit with my eyes closed. It also introduced me to the British Touring Car Championship racing series and the world of real auto racing - not the boring circlejerk that has become NASCAR or the flimsy cars of F1 and IndyCar.

Had this handle for years and years.. my first truck was a blue Ford Ranger, and at the time I had just read The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring. Took a fancy to the Ringwraiths.. Combine the two and you get Bluewraith.

Before that was Runepride because I translated the runic alphabet from The Hobbit in my free time. lol

I just use my first 2 initials and my last name. To me using an alias or screen name gives the user too much anonimity and releaves too much social responsibility.
Just my personal feelings not trying to scold or take the high ground.
