I think it doesn't matter if the story's true or not. His spelling and grammer are horrible, and that's all that matters.

Reading his follow-up post makes me think he was trying to show how funny he was in the first post and then realized he came across like a giant jerk and realized now everyone knows it. He tried to be funny and change the post process. Who really comes to reddit seeking absolution two years later for buying pies?

The original story shows multiple signs of fabrication, including one that FBI studies show indicate a false statement over 90% of the time. After a quick statement analysis, I'd say the whole story is BS, with the only possible exception being the setup.

That said, is that who we now are? Reveling in the come uppance of a 5 year old by an alleged adult?

Having an autistic child is not a free pass to be a POS parent.

Unfortunately even if this particular instance isn't true this scenario plays out all too often in public. I despise unruly children and lazy parents. As far as I am concerned, the meaner the response by the innocent bystander the better.

Nowhere did I excuse the behavior for either particularly the mom. All I'm saying is that you can't always know why kids act the way they do.

Oh come on. You guys are over analyzing this. If this were real life, most people here would probably ignore the situation while grumbling to themselves.

It's a fantasy story where some guy acts out what we'd all like to do sometimes. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. There is a tasty sort of satisfaction in this "come uppance" that I think most people feel, but probably wouldn't really act upon IRL. So why take it so seriously? Let people be people. If that morsel isn't tasty to you, move on.

Then again, I guess a part of that is letting the serious people be serious. So, go ahead guys. BBI, forgop, horn, whomever else I've left out, have at it. I imagine you've got your itch to scratch as well. So tell us how horrible we all are for indulging in the revenge fantasy.

The reddit poster should have referred to the kid as baby face.
