Good, it seems that the classifieds are causing more distractions to the forum than necessary for a FREE service?
Got CM for you. I think his BP is up a little today.
I'm actually quite interested in the bowling ball. Do you have pics?
Pictures?I actually saw a bowling ball at Goodwill yesterday and it fit my hand. It was priced at $5.99 which I thought was a bit pricey, especially knowing one would be popping up in classifieds here soon. I passed on buying it.
True story.
If you can navigate this forum, you can post a thread with a pic from photobucket.
Or hooligans, yeah. We don't need any young hooligans in here. Or anyone who is a Libra...yeah, heck yeah...oh, and people who are desperately lacking in cheese and can't post photos. Yeah, that's the ticket.Says the person who is obviously tech-savvy enough to do both. There are some out there who might not be...
While we're at this, why don't we just make a rule that anyone over 65 can't use the classifieds. Or anyone using na older phone. Or dial-up.
Or is this another ambiguous rule that will be enforced subjectively depending on the mood of the mods and who the violator is?
I seriously don't understand why posting a picture is such a burden. A real picture of the item.
Amen...oops! Uh, gesundheit.Anyone who is capable of navigating this forum and uploading a custom avatar has already demonstrated the skills necessary for uploading pictures to photobucket and posting them here.

They did hear it. It's been discussed many times and from what I've read, the overwhelming majority want to see pics. I do get the point about primers, powder and things like that which are "standard", and for the folks like Alan that are paying to use this service as a virtual storefront, selling only NIB items, but I see that is being addressed.I see stock photos and photos of guns now that say "not my gun, but it looks like this." This seems just as useless to me as no pics. I really don't mind the "must have a picture" rule for firearms, particularly used firearms. I fail to see the point of mandating a photo just to have a photo. If I have a Mossberg 500 that's been through a flood and a fire, but post pictures of someone else's, what was gained? If I'm going to lie in text, I can certainly lie by using someone else's photo. If we're going to mandate photos, why not at least get some value out of it?
I still fail to see the value in a photo of a cardboard box, like the exterior of a box of primers. Especially if I can post a picture of someone else's box.
Yes, INGO owes me nothing. However the whole value of INGO is in the members and the information they share. If you being to alienate people who would otherwise contribute, you're diminishing the overall value. I would think stakeholders would WANT to hear what their users think, as without the users what are you left with?
