It's worth $150. I'll be a gentleman and give you $200. I'm a humanitarian like that.
WASR's are the bottom-of-the-hype-barrel, basic AKM rifle. Nothing fancy or top-of-the-line, just a solid rifle that goes *bang* when you pull the trigger. CAI has a crew of drunken monkeys in charge of QC on some shifts, so they have a reputation of canted sights and gas blocks. If you find a good one that doesn't have these issues, it will run forever.
I think they typically run in the $400-$500 range. Ignore the taticool-ed $900 WASR's you see idiots trying to pawn off on you.
Not entirely true.
Century is only the importer on the WASR rifles. They are actually built/assembled at the Curir factory in Romania. The only thing Century does is make the rifles 922r compliant for standard capacity (30 round) magazines, ie opens up the mag well, and installed enough parts to meet 922r. Thats is all. Any gas block issues or canted sights are on the Romanians.
