Unfortunately Oakley has discontinued my favorite model. I found a pair on Amazon last week and paid full retail which is something a cannot stand doing but I'm getting desperate thinking about not having them any longer. Found another beater pair on eBay which I plan to attempt a refinish on the frames, the only problem is that they are hinged so I don't know how well that'll work out. I've got a set of lenses and new rubber waiting so hopefully the refinish goes well.

    Which model is that?

Snap some pics or video if that works for you. That would be an interesting project to see.

Just scored another lightly used pair on eBay. That'll bring me up to four total so I should be good for the next 20 years lol.

For the last 10 years I have wore Oakleys... I have tried other cheap and higher end sunglasses and I cant find anything as durable or comfortable as oakleys!!!! I look at it like this... I can buy 5 pair of $20 sunglasses a year or 1 pair of $150 sunglasses and have em for 3 or 4 years!

I've worn Oakley shooting glasses for years, but only recently (last year) got into them for daily wear. I won a pair in a promotion at work, and was immediately hooked. I managed to avoid losing or breaking them, until a couple months ago when I left them in the wife's car. She found them and put them on the roof of my car in the garage, but failed to tell me. I drove to work the next morning, and the glasses went bye-bye somewhere along the line.

I bought a cheap pair to get me by while I looked for a replacement pair of Oakleys, only to find like phylodog that that style had been discontinued. :( Guess it's off to eBay for me!

I have a beloved pair of Square Wire 2.0s that I lost a lense. I got lucky and scored a set of lenses off eBay. One looked like it had been stomped on a gravel road, the other was in good shape. The good one was the one I needed. Now that I have been wearing them again, I need new ear socks. Saw a set on eBay a while back, for $100.:(

Ahh, hadn't considered the color options. Fortunately for me black is fine for mine. I've bought a few pair of replacement lenses from Fuse lenses and they've been great if anyone is looking for replacements.

Stopped at an Oakley store in Florida while on vacation last week. They had 3 black sets in stock. I bought all three. The guy gave them a bath in his ultrasonic cleaner and installed the new ear socks and nose pieces. Didn't know how dirty they were till I saw them clean.

Pro tip: If you need to install ear socks on your Oakleys, hand sanitizer gel is the hot ticket for lube. Nice and slippery, but unlike dish soap, it evaporates quickly and leaves no residue.:yesway:

I forgot to post an update. I now have four pair of my precious Square wires so I should be good to go for many years. I paid full retail for a new in the box pair, picked up two pair of used and still have my old faithful pair. The two I bought used were in really good condition as far as the frames were concerned. I replaced the lenses and I've got five sets of nose pieces and ear socks ready when they need them.

Here are the three pair in the current rotation. The brand new pair will stay in the box until I have to break them out.

I can barely stand to be outside without sunglasses on an overcast day, I can't function without them on a sunny day.

Pffft, that's because you have dreamy movie-star baby blues.

I have the eyes of a mongrel, plus the zombie left eye gives me retard strength against the sun.
