FN. they are awesome! It's not a proprietary piston system like the sig is. And it will hold its value. Knights are awesome but honestly they are overpriced for what they offer
If I had a budget for three rifles priced at $2000 this is what I'd go with
A ruger gunsite scout 308 for woods walks and field work
A ruger precision rifle in 243 for distance target shooting
The last rifle might be a scar 17 on the cheap, but lets face it I doubt I'd be that lucky!
Almost all you guys need to read the OPs post again, he is asking, out of the three rifles he posted. What rifle you would pick and why.. One rifle....lol
I wouldn't spend MY money on any of those. If they were free, on the table, and I wasn't allowed to sell it, I'd get the KAC.
My dad's got the Sig, and it just doesn't feel any nicer than any of my FrankenAR's (they're pretty high end, but not quite as expen$ive as the Sig).
And FN's just aren't my thing. They seem just like any other mil-spec AR to me, and seem a bit overpriced for what they are. I'd rather spend less on a Colt LE-6920 (same thing as the FN just from a different company).
So out of those three, the KAC would get the nod. It seems the most "special"...out of those three anyway.
But if it were my money, and I had to spend $2k on an AR (couldn't get 2 Colts, DD's, build a couple, etc...), I'd be going a different route for sure. Maybe a Larue, LWRC, etc...
