I thought of another during a conversation tonight:

    "The white man."

It's especially irritating when used by pretentious, self-righteous, sanctimonious white people when blaming all the world's problems and sins on everyone who was born without a lot of melanin because they're collectively an evil, robotic monolith. Well, except for themselves and those who agree with them who are automatically absolved of all guilt due to their "socially responsible" socio-political beliefs.

    And there's another . . . "socially responsible."

A switch in my brain deactivates my awareness the speaker/writer when it detects the phrase "the white man" or "socially responsible." And for that, I blame the white man.

All PC words and phrases **** me off because the whole thing is about lies and obfuscation. As the saying goes, PC holds that it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

From Brandon Morse. Sounds about right:

You really think everyone who says they’re trans is trans? Come on. The sudden uptick in trans people isn’t real. Gender dysphoria is a very real mental disorder, but the sudden rise in transgendered people after its mainstream introduction is not. Being trans is a fad. Not everyone who claims to be trans has gender dysphoria. In reality, being trans is the new being emo. I mean, you think the sudden breakout of all these young trans people on Tumblr is due to a sudden epidemic of mental disorders? If I did actually have gender dysphoria, I’d be livid at all these kids and attention seekers treating my illness like a damn game.

Here are a few newer ones. Well maybe not all that new but I wasn't aware they were actually a thing.

#1: Almond shaming. Yep. It's a thing. In California at least. Each almond takes a gallon of water to grow. Shame be heaped upon those who eat almonds. **** 'em. I love almonds anyway. I think I'll go buy a few pounds.

#2: Lying is the greater truth. You know, because if your lie promotes the greater truth, idunno, like any socially just cause, then it's not really a lie.

Any sentence that includes "..I feel like.." and doesn't reference an actual emotion or medical condition.

Makes me want to drown manatees.

    Add to that:

    "..way more.."
    "..way better.."

Or 'way' used in any fashion not related to proper English. Not a PC phrase I know, but still runs chills up my spine.

Here are some actual PC terms that torque me:

    - Assault weapon
    - Multiculturalism
    - Inclusive
    - Tolerance
    - Sensitive
    - Offensive
    - Safe place
    - Participant trophy
    - Hyphen anything
    - Undocumented alien
    - Gender neutral
    - Gun violence
    - Rights granted

(All when used in specific contexts)

    Also,

    - The fact that words or phrases end up as ******** in adult forums.

I recently heard of a new one... "Stare Rape."

I'm reminded of something every parent with 2 or more kids has heard; "Dad, little Pat is staring at me!"

I may step on some toes but I get a chuckle when I hear people refer to their significant others as "fiancee" when they have been living together for years.

    "Common sense gun legislation"
For that matter, the term "Common sense" in ANY reference.

Those who use this phrase are anything BUT common, and generally have no sense at all, common, horse, or otherwise...
