    You get a check up for a driver's license at your age?

    It's just for some professional licences.

    I don't think there any check up at any age for a regular licence over here.
    Our driver's licence doesn't have any expiration date either so you see people in their 80's who are still driving and don't even know all the modern road signs and traffic laws.

    You can get your licence, not drive for 50 years, and it will be still valid and legal for you to drive.

    It's like your lifetime LTCH. :):

    It's pretty cool that we never have to renew it.
    You can legally use it as ID too but usually people have their pic taken as a teen on their licence and they still use the same when they're in their 70's.

    We have an ID card too that we need to renew every 10 years I think.

    THey used to have a commercial and that was the tag line "there is always room for Jello".
    It is a sweet, fruit flavored gelatin... mostly eaten in hospitals or by people with an upset stomach
