People... bottom left of your screen. See that drop-down? Change it to ingo-responsive-rc1 if you want to see it.

If you've noticed, there's a "new admin" logged in occasionally, called "responsive"

This seems to be a test for a new theme.

In INGO fashion, they tested in production instead of isolated. Looks to be corrected now.

How in the world did you find that?

    Fair enough.

Around that time, I was pretty critical of how seemingly everyone was out to get him (tends to happen with new members that haven't been given the chance to take in the climate around here). I probably used a broad brush when accusing some people of instigating and fishing for negative responses, which is where my comment to you came from at the time. I'm sure if I thought better of it back then, I'd not have been so curt about it. You tend to speak from a very genuine and positive place, after all.

When it comes to new members, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt when I see them posting in ways that will probably rile some people up. I just wish more people met those posts with positivity and attempts to correct the member instead of instigating them into an inevitable ban.

I liked MR Jarrell and I thought a lot of his points were spot on. But he could not stand people having a socially conservative outlook, especially a religious outlook. It set him off on snarky rants and snide one-liners. I'd rather treat people like I'd want to be treated, but that tends to get overridden with "you get what you give."

Now I'm wondering if there are any actual useful features I'm missing out on. :):

Yeah, "Responsive" is just a vBulletin theme that has some variations. Looks like Kev is working on implementing it here, possibly by default.

I don't know a ton about it, but I think it's supposed to be more mobile friendly? Not sure.

Well, you could use a database, word processor, or notepad to take notes.
There is, or at least was, a firefox plugin to add notes to a page. You could click on an element on a page and add a note. Probably not all that reliable for dynamic pages.

I think you need to go back and re-read some of the posts where people really do attempt to guide the new members. Talk them off the ledge when the fall back on the "Good-Ole Boys" defense. Many member very positive in this aspect myself included.
All to often these attempts are ignored when ego gets in front of civil thought/discussion and straight up snarky response. I have spent untold amounts of time trying to get folks to either calm down or just take a break. With varied success mostly just being ignored. This has led to the 3 strikes and you are out rule.

Our last shooter was actually on strike 4.

Responsive is fixing some things and as often has to be done testing in the field gets you answers faster.

In the case of MrJarrel. Lets just say he was a topic of continuous discussion of the staff. His stay here was greatly extended because in the end he did bring something. Also in the end he was a serious pain in the butt.

There is a lot you folks do not see. Its the whole in Las Vegas stays there thing.....:):

Thanks that fixed it for me. Mine was set to the responsive and I changed it to ingunowners.
