People, I think this'll actually get MSM coverage. And it is starting to.

The MSM needs 2 sides. This will be the story they point to and say, "See, we're fair" while bringing on all sorts of opinion people to reinforce the anti-2A view.

Wise words....as I suspect that will be the narrative. Such a rare occurrence...22 x more likely to kill someone accidentally than actually do good,....blah blah blah. We still have a gun problem. The shooter shouldn't have had a gun in the first place.

Glad he was there. It started blowing up my FB feed last night. Glad he was able to stop it.

Here's the other thing - something the MSM people probably won't admit (other than Fox): there are ALOT of pro-2A eyeballs out there. If they can cover this, and get a slice of those people for awhile, it helps them on the media-selling side.

This was (still is?) the top of Reddit last night... even with the part about the armed citizen in the title, which surprised me. Didn't think they'd let that fly... that's a lot of far-left eyes seeing the positive news.

The comments were a separate beast, though, and should always be ignored.

Shame they had to run out to their cars and get the guns out of the trunks before engaging.... but good that they engaged.

Copy/paste got a bit out of hand. Looks like the 51% alcohol sales law is in OK. Signs have no force of law, if you don't leave when told it's a crime like Indiana.

I heard about this when it happened. Too bad we don't get a fair shake in the mainstream media. But regardless, I am happy this ended well. Human beings have a God-given right to defend themselves, and I am happy to live in a country that took that right into it's founding principle's, even though those principle's are constantly being challenged.

Bad guy was the licensed armed guard by that article

And wearing ear and eye pro like he was at the range. The story also mentioned some disturbing social media activity (the devil was following him.)

3.2% Beer is all can get in the great state of OK.
They are very strict on carrying in a bar vs restaurant they also require a training class that’s regulated by the state police and local sheriff. I was exempt from having to obtain a license or attend the training but the Provost Marshal required us to do so. The class was were good it covered all the basics and I had to “qualify”. Strange thing in the law you qualify on a Derringer or revolver or automatic and nothing bigger than a .45 is allow to be carried.

State gun laws are almost as strange as State Liquor laws. 3.2% beer? Glad I never got stationed in OK (that and the tornadoes and there is nothing to see and AWACers are weird.) The "no larger than .45" caught my eye too. Probably the biggest caliber when the law was written? 3.2% beer and no larger than .45? Sounds like a bad political slogan.
