This question comes from a 20 year slavery sentence I spent in California...Living in that State warps your mind and you think about these crazy things.
In California, your pistol barrel cannot accept a silencer or have threads that will accept a silencer. If it does, its an "Illegal Assault Weapon"...So basically the AR9 I am currently building cannot go on vacation with the wife and I to see the kids.
Are there any neighboring States with similar crazy laws...and I figure Illinois is going to be on that list. My Boss informed me my 3" pocket knife was a no-go in Chicago... as he showed me his Benchmade Infidel...which is now on my "must own" list.
Is there a list of Neighboring State [AW (?)] laws and strange gun/weapon laws we in Indiana need to know about?
If not, maybe it would be a good resource for us to have.
I am sure many of you didnt realize taking a pistol into California that had barrel threads could make you a felon in ALL STATES...
