    Well, it wasn't like security or the cops had actually done anything, so I don't know how the reporting makes it worse for him. It sounds like he tried to let the authorities handle it, and only did what he did when the guy was taking off.

    Plus, I'm seeing a men's rea problem when it was an ass kicking instead of an easy and effective running over him.*

    Im not saying what he did was "legal", but if accurately reported running this up as murder is BS IMO.

    Maybe be they want the jury to nullify.

    *Unless there is a felony murder charge.

    Yeah, I'm not coming down on this guy for being angry and wanting the guy taken care of. I understand that. Further, if it were to come out that the police were called and he was trying to restrain the guy pending their arrival- completely different situation.

    ...but so far, I've not hear anything about the police being called, the guy fighting back, etc. Although, I will heed my own advice about the sorry state of reportage and acknowledge that we probably know far less than the whole story.

    Yeah, but they're using that guy's ass for table stakes. If that's the gamble, they don't have enough (any) skin in that game
