That's not quite how I remember it. From what I can remember, Fenway was nervous about the copyright lawsuits going around and Savage eagle started deleting everything he had that bordered on copyright infringement. I could be wrong...

Fun fact: my dad lives in SE’s old house.

SE’s house, or the house he lived in with his gf that belonged to her mom? IIRC correctly, he lived in Plainfield with them, and was a bit butthurt that MIL or gf’s mom(whichever) didn’t approve of his having guns in her home. Don’t remember if it was a wife or a girlfriend, but it was her mother’s house. And he went about complaining of not being able to support his wife/gf, at the same time he was drinking at Bubbas Plainfield and buying guns?

INGO Claims ownership of posts? Doesn’t that cause some huge liability issues? All of the protections that forums get, are IIRC generally because they are not claiming ownership of the posts.

I didn't know SE did that, there is/was another member who deleted his posts a couple days or a week after he made them. He just went back and edited them all to a . every so often.

It's not like anyone has ever been defamed on INGO and the "publication" element has been INGO itself or anything. What are you worried about?

Sames defense in this case where there was no personal jurisdiction in Virginia because the blog, from Arizona was not directed to a specific state...
