Already have, enlightenment thinkers spoke very well philosophically, but not so well realistically. Which god or gods do you think your rights come, and can you point me to the text indicating such? And for the record, I say this as a believer in God.

The three fundamental human rights are Life, Liberty, and Property.
That is, you have exclusive control over your body.
    Exclusive control over your actions.
And exclusive control over the fruits of your labor.

These rights were not given to you by anyone. You have these rights merely by existing as a human in the state of nature.
If the space aliens dropped you off on a habitable planet somewhere in Andromeda, where you were the only higher level predator extant, you would have these rights by default. Rights cannot be granted, only protected or infringed.
And if you want to frame those rights as "god-given" based on your belief system then that's on you.

See? This is what I mean by the left can't meme. They don't know the other side well enough to put enough truth into it to make it funny. Conservatives believe *natural rights* come from God, i.e. life/liberty/perusing happiness. They believe foreigners do not have the same *legal rights* of citizenship. So. No. Foreigners (I assume we're talking about non-citizens) do not have the same rights as Americans. They can't vote in our elections, for example.
