I agree, but that’s apparently what’s being taught in our schools. We evolved from pond scum to humans.

Did you ever specify how much evolution you buy into? Do you think there were Neanderthals? Did we evolve from earlier hominids?

Exactly how much of evolution do you think has been 'debunked' in this video?

Please, someone define which evolution we should have faith in.
So far all that is presented is choosing between obviously false paradigms.

I buy into adaptation 100%. But if we are defining evolution as a gradual change from one "kind" to another, I don't buy into it at all.

I haven't read Darwins origin of species for exactly the reasons you stated, when I read science books I prioritize the newest ones as I'm looking for the most recent state of knowledge.
I dont think anyone's defending Darwins entire original theory as written, we've obviously learned a lot since then.
Ok... You do realize that the newest ones are based on the same premises as Darwin laid out in Origin of the Species? Hence the term 'Darwinian Evolution'. This is exactly what the OP video is discussing.

The video brings up valid criticisms of where evolution has gaps in its explanatory powers. That doesn't mean a lot hasn't been learned since Darwin went on his boat ride.

Wow! This discussion could last into ETERNITY! But I BELIEVE and have FAITH in the book that is the best selling book in the history of the world, that tells us why we (whether christian or not) live in the year 2019 and what that time table is based on.
Which also says in Roman's 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who SUPPRESS THE TRUTH in righteousness, 19 BECAUSE that which is known about God IS EVIDENT WITHIN THEM; FOR GOD MADE IT EVIDENT TO THEM. 20 For since the creation of the world His (GOD) invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD THROUGH WHAT HAS BEEN MADE, SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE."
For as a man once said. "If you believe in Him and it's not true, you've lost nothing. But, if you don't believe Him and it is true, you've lost EVERYTHING!!

The young Earth and Darwinian evolution theories appear to be red herrings.
But if it makes somebody happy to have faith in either then who am I to dissuade them?
After all, where people are concerned when what was up goes down then all that's left is right.

Wouldn't you just love to have a time machine and go see paleontologists with beagle, chihuahua and dobie skeletons a brazillion years from now argue over how many species of canis there were?

As convincing as a Muslim quoting the Quran, a mormon quoting the book of mormon, a hindu quoting the Bhagavad Gita, a scientologist quoting L Ron Hubbard etc. Etc.

Are you ever going to grace us with this grand theory you have for how life came to be or are you content just throwing rocks?
