Oh Hellz Yes.
Simply because of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
It seems like the quick progression - GOTG2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, then Infinity War - is groundbreaking. I mean, I can't think of a movie franchise that adopted such an aggressive pace. Part of it may be the technology is becoming more accessible, but the stories all seem to be relatively fresh with each iteration.
Early this morning I watched "Avengers: Endgame."
How the hell did that bloated pig of a movie earn so much at the box office? What was the appeal? It was barely past boring and I don't get bored! I lost over three hours of my life expecting it to get better because it was supposed to be so awesome.
Meh.
And I really liked all of the previous Avengers movies!
