Greenfield Gun Show

Busy weekend for gun shows. This one is only 30 minutes drive for me. Don't need anything, but gonna kill some time.
Hancock county fairgrounds. This is a Central Indiana Gun show.
Sat. 9 to 5
Sun. 9 to 3
$5 entry fee.

As always, I don't set up here. I just pay to get in like everybody else.

I always go in and look around since it's right down the street, you never know what you might see.

Place was pretty crowded from 11am til about 1pm. Had to talk myself out of a 6 digit SP 1 Colt with a 3x Colt carry handle scope. $2200 just seems excessive. I really wanted that scope, but the guy wont seperate them. He thinks the scope is worth $800. No scope box, and no paperwork.

Anyway, did pick up a fairly rare AR 180 full curve steel body 30 round mag. And some odds and ends. Did get to talk to Jeff (Rick), Gary, and Charlie.

Didn't check out the pigeon show. For real, people were walking around with pigeons.

I always think about going to this show, but I never have. It's the closest gun shows ever get to me, and it's cheap enough, but I never seem to make it a priority.

I saw that rifle as well but my Brownells retro M16 scratches that itch pretty well without spending 2K. Brownells is also making a retro 3X made by the original manufacturer if that would work?

Show wasn't too bad but I usually go to this one more to see what other people are bringing in, they usually gather towards the back with what they've got. I did see a Colt Diamondback for 1225.00 but it definitely looked used, same with an 8 inch S&W 27 for 699.00.

Only problem with the Brownell scope is I have an original box and paperwork for the older 3x. Also have 3 Chinese made repros. They are okay but the itch exists for the Colt marked one.

Didn’t pick up any guns, but we did come home with two pairs of Pigeons for 4H. Lol

I went on Sunday, sold some things, picked up a T/C 256 Win Mag barrel that a friend had been holding for me.

Saw a very rare rifle - a Hadar II. Google it for info, I'll bet most of you have never seen one!

I did see the the Hadar, first one I've seen in the wild. Guy was pretty proud of it as well with that price !

Looks like the next ones not until July, I usually find better deals at Highsmith anyway.

I just moved to Greenfield and checked out this show. Saw an old pin-fire Belgian revolver that was really cool. And an AK that I would like to have but was way overpriced. Didn't see any pigeons..???
