How old do you have to be to be a boomer? I’m older than some, younger than the Mouse...Nevermind, EVERYONE is younger than the Mouse?

You might be a baby boomer if you wore bell bottom pants.

It was actually bell bottom pants, flannel shirts, and hiking boots.

Don't forget about the snorkel winter jackets and chukka boots. Who didn't have a transistor radio?

    Nylon vests dude.

I had the coolest radio of them all. In fact, I had two-- a blue one and a yellow one. Remember Toot-a-Loops?

In 1970 gas was .32 cents a gallon and a full size candy bar was a dime.

You might be a boomer if you were pumping other people's gas when it 1st went over $1.00 (and washing their windows and checking their oil)
Later in my pumping career, we had some of the the very first self-serve pumps in the country.

My prized possession when I was a kid was the Schwinn bicycle, banana seat, racing slick back tire, lime green.

Couldn't get Dad to spring for a Schwinn "Crate" bike, so I had a Sears "Screamer" (yellow). Gear shift on the crossbar, 20" slick in the back, 16" in the front, ape hanger handlebars and a sissy bar on the back.

You might be a boomer if you listened to WNAP with Buster Bodine, Atom Smasher and others. Everyday after school before the parents came home from work. Yes, I was a latch key kid.

Yes! "The Wrath of the Buzzard!" And I remember the raft races they had up in Broadripple, though I never participated.
