At Passover last year my kids and I spread oil on the front door and the door frames of all the rooms in the house. I also anointed their heads with the oil and we prayed for the virus to pass over our home and for the Lord to keep the family healthy.

This was at the start of the spread so everyone was a little more unsure of the actual impact, but I will probably do the same for this Passover.

Does this mean I have brain worms, or no?

No sir. You are doing what you feel is needed and its what we all need to do.
    What we feel is needed.

I'm not going to call the sheep, sheep. Although I do think some are drinking too much Kool-Aid and watching too much mainstream media, for the most part, I don't care what they do as long as they don't try to force it on me.

For the most part, I comply with wearing masks unless it is not being enforced.

For many, I think it is magic bullet thinking. They are not paying attention to the ever-moving goalposts. They just want it to all be over. Many are impatient and scared.

It's easy to wear a mask or get a vaccination instead of actually taking care of ourselves or making any lifestyle changes to make ourselves less at risk for getting sick. It's easier to do what is trendy. It is easier to do what is being rewarded.

Many want to believe that this mask or this vaccine will solve all of their problems but it won't. If anything these things may provide a false sense of security that encourages us to behave foolishly because we believe we are protected.

Not to mention the potential for unknown future side effects or complications.

We have survived years without masks and suddenly we are all supposed to be the boy it in the bubble because it is the politically convenient thing to do?`

Life is for living. Not hiding behind a mask.

How about using common sense and common courtesy? If you feel the slightest sick stay home, take care of yourself, get some rest. Do not go out & spread your possible illness until you are sure you are not sick. This will do more to curb the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses AKA Covid than any mask or vaccine.

I call BS to those who don't know they are sick or coming down with something. Seriously isn't everyone in tune with their own bodies? If not you should be. Many of us have grown accustomed to acknowledging these feelings only when they are convenient.

We've all gone to work sick but now it is no longer safe to do. While this whole Covid thing is going on, many employers are more understanding to sudden illnesses for fear of catching Covid. Yes I acknowledge that some bosses are just asshats too.

Wanna be a hero? Stay home if you are sick.

As far as forced vaccinations go, find your voice America, just say no. If we band together we are more powerful than if we are maintaining ill imposed social distancing.

 I really don’t know shat you think it is that I was saying.

Neither do I, that was awhile ago. I'm not even sure what I meant now. Oh well at least I was able to add to the confusion! Mission accomplished. What were we discussing?

Some folks get serious about their mask opinions.
So, if it is contagion you're worried about (rather than control), isn't it worse to be rolling around on the floor wrestling with the unmasked person than it would be to just get them checked out ASAP and out of the store?

Must be the will of Landru

Hey, I'm not claiming that not wearing a mask is harming people. But I'm okay with using colloquial language on an internet forum. I'm okay with calling the droplets that one spews when they talk "spit". It's icky either way when you think about it.
Nope. Calling respiration "spit" is straight-up Alinksy, and while you're okay with it, I'm not. It isn't colloquialism; it's intentional exaggeration to erect and demolish a straw man.

I've seen Racing Team Battle for 1 to 1.5% more on fuel mileage what's a human life worth? Yeah and I'm not saying anybody should be forced by government agency to wear a mask but the argument that is just stupid is also well just kind of stupid
How much is a human life to the human himself? Accepting for the sake of argument the 1 - 1.5% benefit of others wearing masks, weigh that 1 - 1.5% against the human's own contribution to overall mortality risk related to Covid. What are the risks of obesity and diabetes? What are the risks of poor hygiene? What are the risks of an undeveloped and/or suppressed immune system due to lifestyle choices?

It is the same argument with BLM - a group that is founded around 10 unarmed black people per year killed by police, while ignoring the tens of thousands of black people killed every year by other black people.
