Here's a crazy thought - what if getting vaccinated was protecting your health?

I know, I know, it sound ridiculous to you.

It's a crazy thought, but during the later summer/early fall of 2020, I lost 50 lbs, kicked type II diabetes and hypertension...then months later, got vaccinated. Why is everything an either/or proposition?

Pretty sure I was at a healthy weight when I got all my other vaccinations too.

They aren't the sole owners, but having been involved with decisions regarding potential employment of individuals with health issues (including AIDS, disabilities, etc.), an employer is responsible for a piece of you. In some cases, a very large piece.
They are only responsible for maintaining a workplace as free of physical dangers as practical. MY choice to be vaccinated only affects MY safety, not anyone else's, since everyone's else's vaccination should protect them if the vaccinations are indeed effective.

You've taken a generalized statement by Actaeon and whittle the argument with a chainsaw to fit your agenda.

I stand by my staement, as conditional as it might be.

Look, an employer might believe government published data on infection, hospitalization and death rates from covid and make a judgement that the unvaccinated folks represent a higher potential level of expense for the company. And, if they do nothing, and someone dies as a result of exposure traced to an unvaccinated employee.....well, there's your answer. The employer is going to take the road that will lead to the least likely negative outcome.

Ah, so we can now discriminate against women of child bearing age, the overweight, the poor because that leads to poor health, gays (promiscuity is serious health risk), trans (not paying for all that chopping and sewing), black folks (greater propensity for accusations of racism and lawsuits), shall I continue?

You mentioned AIDS earlier. So if an employee with AIDS infected another employee, and that employee died, was the company held responsible?

    At a company-sponsored orgy....probably.

    Otherwise, not so much.
What about boppin' in the broom closet? Or doing it in the back seat of a car at lunch? Did the company require all employees to wear prophylactics while at work? Seems pretty similar to me. I mean, cause you just never know...
