Pretty clear that the red bloc ( Russia and China ) BFFs are both causing trouble. Crimea, Ukraine, Taiwan.... they are itching for war it seems. I’m guessing that they have some Arab friends in the back pocket just to bolster their positions.

Oh what a difference a few years makes.

"We believe that there is a very distinct possibility that Vladimir Putin will order an attack on Ukraine," Mr Sullivan(US National Security Advisor) told ABC News.
"It could take a number of different forms. It could happen as soon as tomorrow,or it could take some weeks."

The Democrat party leadership has wanted this war, even pushed for since January of 2014.
Even when they did not have the presidency. After Russia kept Crimea(which was actually part of Russia even before the Soviet Union) the push has been nearly constant. Now it has grown to screaming it everywhere they can.

The U.S. actions were "raising tensions, creating panic, and even playing up the schedule of war," foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters.

"If someone is adding fuel to the fire while blaming others... then that behavior is irresponsible and immoral," she added, turning the spotlight on the United States in response to a question on China's role in resolving the situation.

China on Wednesday accused the U.S. of creating “fear and panic” over the crisis in Ukraine, and called for talks to reduce rapidly building tensions.
“On the Ukraine issue, unlike the U.S., which keeps sending weapons to Ukraine, creating fear and panic and even playing up the threat of war, China has been calling on all parties to respect and pay attention to each other’s legitimate security concerns, work together to solve problems through negotiations and consultations, and maintain regional peace and stability,” Hua said at a daily briefing.

What is not being talked about? The USA provides roughly 7% if Europe's natural gas through LNG shipments. We also provide almost 10% of the diesel and gasoline. This is just in the last 2 years(diesel and gasoline). We as a country need no imported oil or LNG...yet we import it. Why? To export it,often times as a refined product mainly to south America(that is changing in real time if you track current shipping some is already rerouted to the EU).

In short Biden in already saying American's need to prepare for pain at the pump. The truth is we very well will, but only because we are going to try to plug the giant black hole in energy caused by sanctions we encouraged the EU to make against Russia.
President Joe Biden on Tuesday acknowledged that U.S. gas prices may keep rising due to his sanctions on Russian assets, saying that “defending freedom will have costs.

“As I said last week, defending freedom will have costs for us as well and here at home. We need to be honest about that,” Biden said at the White House. “But as we do this, I’m going to take robust action to make sure the pain of our sanctions is targeted at [the] Russian economy, not ours,” he continued.
I find it most curious that this quote was mentioned on most major US media, but if you google it you will need to use Wayback to see articles on sites like CNN,MSNBC,FOX news ect. Almost every article it was mentioned in just yesterday has been rewritten.

    It really is Bonkers.

People will still deny what this administration and dems in general are doing.

I overheard a guy telling another guy this morning that the president has NO impact on the cost of gasoline or anything else.

    WTF :ugh:

I really think that people in general are to stupid for us to continue on as the great nation we used to be.

I'm sure it is just a coincidence that climate activists leftists WANT traditional energy to be more expensive, not only to make expensive 'green' energy look better in comparison but so people will be forced to use less of it and further their sacrifice of the poor on the altar of global warming

I believe they see Californians paying 2 to 3 times the national average for energy as some kind of success. I notice that the well off are squawking about plans to reduce what they are paid from net metering of their (expensive) photovoltaic systems, though. They want the grid there to provide a backstop for them but do not want to contribute to its maintenance costs

I wonder if this applies to Russia respecting Ukraine's security concerns as well? Maybe If Putin would quit trying to **** with them, they wouldn't feel the need to arm up and join NATO.

Thank God Biden won the election!

Now we have a strong experienced hand on the helm of the country. We are so respected on the world stage it’s almost unbelievable.

    I've heard that **** before.

Just got to find the guy that needs a plug between the eyes or in the back of the skull.

If evil, cut to the chase.
The democrats(and those who support them)have pushed for a war for years.
It is an out for the fed to blame.
We have weak leadership(worst possible at a time like this).

Since the UN recognized charters(Constitutions, and unlike our national one in Ukraine any state can freely leave, and the UN approved of this years ago) for independent states in Ukraine(over 8 years ago),and one of them has been being shelled for 4 days this is not a shock to anyone who reads real news.

I personally see zero reason the the USA to be involved at all,but we will see.

Also China has troops mobilized(for 3 days)on the border of Taiwan. Another thing to watch.

We really do have the worst possible leadership for this currently. Can you imagine the Democratic party trying to negotiate anything with anyone? If they sent our VP everyone would laugh.

Best case at this point is we just accept we screwed up when we overthrew a Ukrainian president.
Worst someone lets or tells Biden to push the button.
