I know, that's my point. An electrician put outlets in my garage. Left drywall dust all over my loading bench and didn't sweep it up. No tip.Hardly ever get a tip.

I've gotta say I've never even considered tipping a service tech. It has never occurred to me. I guess if they brought and served me food and drinks I might change my mind though.Hardly ever get a tip.

Uh yeah, about electricians never using a broom. I can’t tell you how many times the homeowner etc says don’t worry about ,it I’ll get it. I reply, if my boss finds out I didn’t clean up my mess I’ll get skinned. Shot absorbed, lol.I went to Ivy tech to learn hvac.
When I was hired I was told to do myself a favor and forget it all.
On the job training was far more valuable than ivy tech.
Our plumbers get sent to school to get their license.
All the trades have their ups and downs and blah blah. One good thing about being an electrician is you are not expected to use a broom or vacuum. EVER.
Shots fired.
If you ever have to call us and I get sent out, I'll raid your fridge and bring you a drink before I leaveI've gotta say I've never even considered tipping a service tech. It has never occurred to me. I guess if they brought and served me food and drinks I might change my mind though.
That’s no ****. I did a four-wheel brake job for 250 bucks. Pads and rotors.If you can do the brake work, you can save some money ordering parts from rockauto.com
<quote>
the suv we actually drive is getting ready to need all new rotors + pads which will run around another 1k,
