Argentina, a country experiencing over 100% inflation recently, just elected a man many are calling the "South American Trump".

In addition to having a crazy haircut, he has called the (so-called) Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis, "a communist".

The central bank issue alone would have got him my vote if I was a citizen there.

I will be following his actual actions. With the level of Administrative state in Argentina he is in for a fight.

If he can start culling the herd and send a good portion of the non-productive back to the productive economy Argentina may have a chance.

Also, if he can move fast enough, it might be an excellent demonstration of what can be done here by the likes of Trump or Ramaswamy.

I’ve heard of this guy and have been aware of his running for president there. I’m glad he got elected. I only listened to the first 10 minutes of the interview but it sounds like he gets it. I wish him success.

I would have voted for him because he want to end the central bank and give control back of currency creation to the government and de-socialize as much of that government as possible.
