      I just used an electric heat gun. I set up some 2x4s to create somewhat of an oven and just go over it with the gun. I did one half of the pipe at a time. Took maybe 5 min/side.       Doc, not sure if it's been mentioned here before, but there is a gigantic website/forum full of all kinds of info on everything you can imagine regarding real estate investing. Biggerpockets.com I've found it very useful for any questions I had on rental property.

      Like several of the others on this thread, I like to dabble in shooting with the Nikon 3300. I have the regular kit lens 18-55, and also an old 50mm manual focus lens that goes up to f2.2 that I like to use for some extra bokeh. I've tried some macro shooting as well with some extension tubes...

      Yes, this is what I was referring to. A lot cheaper than buying a whole new tire and wheel, but hadn't seen much evidence that it will work very well for how much of a mess it will create.

      He made it from MDF. I use the same setup, but I didn't try the mdf wheel. My grinder already had like a cloth buffing wheel on one side and I just use it. I bought a stick of the grinding compound that he mentions and load it up on the buffing wheel.

      The problem with the slime is that it's still just a thin layer on the inside that can be pierced just as easily as the tire rubber. I really want a tire that you could stab holes in all day long and it still would hold its shape. The tires on the front of ztr mowers aren't all that robust to...

      Yea, corn would not be a very good idea. Rotting corn is one of the worst smells going from my experience around the farm.

      Has anyone tried to fill their mower tires with some type of foam? I have a big ztr mower and front tires constantly get knicked up and leak air. I had an idea to try filling them with spray foam you use around windows and doors. I checked around on the webs and it sounds like people have tried...

      Laziest way to sharpen a knife

      Saw this a while back and thought it was worth sharing. It works very well. I just have a buffing wheel on the bench grinder and charge it with a little compound. Razor sharp in just a couple minutes. https://youtu.be/pZt6xcgyqb8

      Knife Picture Thread

      Here is my second creation. This time with a known steel - 1095. 1/8" thick. I just used a couple scraps of plywood for the scales. I've gotten it razor sharp also. Getting a little more sophisticated as I go.
