      Quick SBR length question before I mail my forms off

      I'm building with a 10.5 barrel. how can I know what my overall length is if i don't have a stock yet? I have a 10.5 that I use for work and the overall is 29.5 if you subtract the added length of the bird cage. Are most Buffer tubes standard?

      Painting engraved areas

      Has anyone filled in engraving with paint. I have a DuraCoat black lower but after engraving, I want to fill it in red but obviously I would have to brush it in. I'd rather hear someones experience before I screw it up.

      .223 v 5.56

      I know that you can fire a .223 in a 5.56 chamber but is the reverse also true? If it is, then is there any benefit of getting one over the other? I was looking at a 10.5" stainless Noveske and Rainier Arms barrel. The Noveske is only a little more in cost but is chambered in 5.56 while the RA...

      Water filters: Katadyn pocket filter?

      I used one during some back packing in Colorado. It was our only source of drinking water for almost a week. Worked great but it is expensive. Really all of the expense is in the filter itself... I think they are well over $100

      AR SBR Engraving

      Who is engraving in southern Indiana. Also, is the middle name of the 'builder' required for the engraving or is first last good enough?
