Shooting in Brownsburg (56th and North Grant)

      1. I believe that was a "witness" report given to the news crew from someone who may have only seen part of the situation, not an official release. 2. Watch for updates from BPD, but from what I've heard they have reason to believe the situation was resolved and there is not a shooter on the...

Shooting in Brownsburg (56th and North Grant)

Maybe avoid the area because they're going to have it blocked off for the investigation?

Why does everyone say the firearms market crashed

Seems to me that there are a lot more gun stores today than there were a few years ago too. That doesn't help the dealer's perception of the market.

      Best pistol brace?

I have been very impressed by the SBA3. PSA regularly has deals on them but the cost will be more than a Shockwave.

      NRA out for its detractors?

How about some tin foil for your tin foil? Sounds like a line of BS cooked up by an anti-gun group designed to appeal to the gun owners who don’t Like the NRA’s compromises. Something that divides their opposition in other words. In case this sounds too far fetched, it is an open secret...

Trooper in deadly Montgomery County shooting identified, but questions remain

Totally agree, although I'd say that well done force-on-force gives a good taste. Certainly opened my eyes. If someone on a forum had sarcastically asked me before trying it about whether or not I could hit what I was aiming at I'd have confidently replied that of course I could, but when the...

Trooper in deadly Montgomery County shooting identified, but questions remain

Happened to me during a traffic stop in Clayton back in '04 or '05. Cop asked me to put my (then holstered) guns on the passenger floorboard and exit the vehicle.

Irvington rocked by small, mysterious explosion; no one injured

A friend got a text about the explosion from someone who heard it. The time on his text was a good 15 to 20 minutes before the reported time.

Free: Server room cleanout - pickup on 9/13 or 9/14 only

Located on the west side of Indy near 465 and Sam Jones. I'm cleaning out our server room and we've got tons of old stuff that is going to be either recycled or trashed. Anything not gone by tomorrow is going to be gone one way or another. Flatscreen monitors (mostly 17"-19", most VGA only)...

"Victim" turns tables on armed robber in Las Vegas

That was awesome and the coolest thing about the video. The more I learn about shooting under pressure the more impressive I find that kind of gun handling. He was shooting, spotted the hostage running in front of him, got his gun offline and oriented up, then brought it back down but didn't...

      Threaded Barrels for Glock

I have a couple Lone Wolfs which have been fine so far and about as inexpensive as you can ask for. I had issues with magpul magazines and steel case ammo, though not brass. Complained to Magpul and they suggested a light coat of lube inside the mag tube. Definitely helps.

      Glocks and Sigs?

Glocks are so ubiquitous that sheer numbers in circulation would alone cause them to be more visible in the for sale/trade side of things. S&W falls into that category too. Add to that they are easy to find and replace and not particularly collectible makes them that much easier to justify...
