Biden reverses price cuts for insulin and Epi pens

Ok, I work for a Pharma company, so I have an idea about this particular EO. It requires “federally qualified health centers” that administers insulin and epinephrine to pass on the savings they get from the 340B program directly to patients. What is 340B? It’s discounted drugs that hospitals...

Since when is 9mm FMJ going for $.40/round?

No wonder my friend was really happy when I gave him a couple of 50-round boxes of Federal HST. It’s probably more than $1 a pop these days, if it’s available.

Ammo is so expensive! “How expensive is it?”

Ammo is so expensive that when I say I’ll kick your butt, I mean it literally.

The Beretta APX is also a modular gun where the outer frame is not serialized. Only the removable inner frame with the fire control unit is legally considered a firearm. https://youtu.be/T5a6Hs02LiQ

      The Morris Civic in SB

It depends on the show. I go there once a year for The Nutcracker, and I have never seen metal detectors or wands.

Do you carry more than one at a time??

I very rarely carry more than one. If I'm open carrying, I keep a pocket pistol concealed on the other side. Otherwise, if I feel the need to have more than one gun, one of the guns would be a rifle.

I was at the indoor range today and someone was shooting 308 next to me

This is why I wear earplugs under my earmuffs, I just never know when the guy in the next lane decides to break out his big boomstick.

The somewhat perpendicular grip angle is necessary for reliable feeding from a box magazine. The mag geometry is the limit rather than the grip.

SO WHO HATES RIDICULOUS SHIPPING CHARGES?

I hate shipping and handling charges as much as the next guy, but everything is relative. If the LGS is selling a mag for $35 (MSRP) and Midway has it for $25, with $4 shipping it would still be cheaper. Sometimes the stuff I want is just not available locally, so I pay the price and shipping as...

      Good places for private sale

Just curious, is it bad form to bring one of those counterfeit detector pens to check the cash?

Neighbor Kills Oklahoma Father in Act of Drowning His Twin Infants

Thankfully they were only three months old. I don't think they'll remember anything.

Avoiding the pile of $50 to $75 Mistakes

I'm afraid there's no way around it. I have different pairs of shoes for different occasions, the same with holsters. Some of us keep buying and selling guns to find something better, so we deal with holsters the same way. The only difference is that holsters are too cheap to bother selling.

      STOCK GLOCK IS PERFECTION!!!

You can make perfection more perfect... Glocks aren't naturally accurate for me. The very first time I picked the M&P and Springfield XD, I shot the 10 ring at 7 yards. With a Glock it took at least six range trips for me to shoot it accurately. I persisted because I like having a 'standard'...

      Next Big Advance in Handguns

As 3D printing becomes better and cheaper at the same time, I think it won't be long before somebody begins selling anatomically personalized guns. You'll have a handgun that literally fits you like a glove. Take a step further and you'll have custom-length magazines tailored to your hand size...

Not your typical .380 vs 9 vs 40 thread

The caliber is just one part of the equation, the gun you use matters. Personally I can see myself liking a compact double stack .380 as opposed to 9mm, but there are very few quality double stack .380 pistols around.
