Long-Term Safe Storage of Stainless Revolver

Thanks everyone. Even guns that don't get shot much get cleaned and lubed over the winter each year, and my safe has a pretty hefty dessicator in it. I tend to clean with Ballistol, which has some protectant properties, and oil on the moving parts of semi-autos, but always wondered if I should...

      What Is It?

Looks like a marital aid! :) I agree that it looks like an old fence stretcher. It is pretty cool whatever it is.

Long-Term Safe Storage of Stainless Revolver

I don't shoot my S&W 686 Plus very often, and was wondering how you all store yours when not in use for a while. I have heard to rub with Rem Oil, but not sure if this the best option. Any ideas?

      Finally Retiring the SIG P938

My SIG P938 has been my trusty daily companion for the last several years, but this week will mark the end of a long, great run! I am going to retire the P938 in favor of my SIG P365 that I picked up last year. I feel pretty confident in it now with about 1,000 trouble-free rounds down the pipe...

      9mm&380 95gr

Here I am!!! I realized I needed to take a mental break from the Internet for a while, so I have limited my online time significantly over the last few months, but I am getting back into the saddle again! I'll go back and revisit the original mouse fart load thread...

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

I shoot my handloads pretty much exclusively. 147 gr. RMR FP "Match Winners" over Sport Pistol - Power Factor ~132 and 124 gr. RMR JHP over Sport Pistol - Power Factor ~132 The factory loads that I have tried are definitely "spankier" than my handloads, so maybe the heavier spring will work...

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

In the Legion, I am running the SIG 12# spring that came as an option with the gun, in the standard X5, I am running a Wolff 12# spring, although I think I actually prefer the 11# spring. I need to do some more testing to be sure.

Where do you get your bullets?

Rocky Mountain Reloading. Have tried everything, but for plated/jacketed, I like his bullets the best. Coated = BBI, Blue, Bayou, Eggleston, etc.

I also have the X5 Legion, and love it. I have the "regular" X5 with a SSI Tungsten grip, so I am already used to the extra weight, so that did not shock me too much. I can say that the Legion's extra weight is better distributed than the SSI grip and feels much better balanced in my hands.
