      Buy on-line. If you're looking for a leather holster, I recommend Milt Sparks or Rusty Sherrick. Their holsters can cost around $100 but they are worth it imho. I waited 6 months for all of my Milt Sparks holsters. Rusty Sherrick delivered a very fine 1911 holster in one week.

      I can't find a holster I'm happy with.

      Order a premium holster & wait your 6 months. If you look at the used holsters for sale, you'll find something you can live with. The used holsters have all the familiar names, none of the premium ones.

      I live part time in Lake & part time in Hamilton counties. Hamilton county is very crowded-central IN is no big deal imho. When I'm 62-which is soon-wife & I are heading to Florida. Still crowded, but warm.

      How many credit cards?

      I have 3. 99% of the time, I use my American Express cash no fee rebate credit card. I believe you should always get something back, whether it's airline miles, cash, gifts, etc. If you don't, someone else gets your money.
