Greetings !

Its Fred McIntire. I talked with you at the open house yesterday about deer hunting with the 6.8 SPC in Indiana. You questioned if it was legal in Indiana.

You also suggested I look at the 6.5 Grendel as well.

I have done some research on the 6.5 Grendel and double checked my original findings on the 6.8 SPC.

I'm happy to report that BOTH the 6.8 SPC and the 6.5 Grendel are legal to hunt deer with in Indiana in a PISTOL configuration.

So, now I have to choose either the 6.8 SPC or the 6.5 Grendel. I think that I should error on the side of doing hands on "research" so maybe I should get 1 of each.

I truly have the "Black Gun Disease" .

Thanks for your help and input. I really enjoyed talking to someone who has been there and done that. Very informative.
