Of course you have a lot more energy behind a .357 round vs a .38 round but in a snub nose it will be difficult to control and if she got scared from a sound of a .44 magnum a .357 cartridge will not fair much better. I have a Ruger Sp101 and firing 357's in it is like shooting a cannon. I...
I looked at my SP101 and it didn't have any of those type of hideous marks. Not sure why Ruger would deface their firearms in that way. If they have to mark their parts during assembly
one would think they find a better way than this.
Like everyone else is saying. The lines on the magazines are perfectly normal. I got my shield 2 days ago and yes the slide was stiff and the 7 round magazine took some pushing to make it engage.
Take down is a tad more difficult than my Glock or Sig but once you get used to it it's not that...
Cheaper than Dirt has them all the time. $377.44 shipped to your FFL dealer. Actually, I just checked and they are out of the 9mm but still have the .40 in stock.
But check back with them on a daily basis. They get them in all the time. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/3-0217875
Yes, that does sound rather odd. Myself I did the online app and then went to get the Electronic Fingerprinting/Security check done which was super easy. Went downtown to pay the second part of the fee and after that it took less than a week for the license to show up. So overall I think it...
Homeland security are idiots. If they were smart they would buy up all the ammo they can and pass it out for FREE to all the law abiding citizens in order to defend themselves against the ever increase in Homicides and violent crimes.
I guess our Government figures they can't make us give up...
WOW, GREAT Review! Nice find. Makes me reconsider getting the Shield over the Compact. I like the looks of the Compact better especially with the contoured/tapered extended Magazine. Also no external safety to mess with.
Seems the only big difference between the two is the width. I am a...
Very nice gun. I am thinking about a full size 9mm. I love German made guns. Thinking about the Sig Sauer SP2022 or the Walther PPQ but now the HK USP is yet another option. But I am afraid the SP2022 will win the end due to price.
If you don't buy it I will. My first gun was a 5 inch barrel Model 10. Bought it used for $120 dollars but that was over 30 years ago. I regret getting rid of that gun. It was a great shooting weapon. Basic but reliable and accurate.
