I don't have any first hand knowledge of the DD but do have the Centurion and its a great rail. It is 2 piece that is solid when installed and uses the stock barrel nut. Very light as well. If I could find a midlength cutout I would get another.
My BCM with Centurion C4
Brownells had them recently as well. Haven't used them extensively but I like them a lot based on the few hundred that I have ran through both 20 and 30 rounders.
I have a new never installed Fulton Armory BCG. In need of a lightweight/pencil barrel, prefer 14.5 but would consider a 16. Must be carbine length gas. I can add mags, ammo, cash, or other part you might need for the right deal.
GONE!
Gunbroker works for me. If you are seriously considering selling the sooner the better :twocents: I think most items are falling in price, except ammo and bcg's.
I have an Atlas on a JAE chassis M1A and GG&G with a QD for my ARs, both are nice. Kinda wish I would have gotten the Atlas with a QD and been done with it. If you plan to use it on more than one rifle consider a QD. Larue makes a QD mount for the Harris.
Given todays prices, I still don't think its a good deal unless its a pretty decent rifle and quality ammo.
Post panic going rates, although you can still do much better that this if you are patient
500 rounds-$500
6 Mags, pmags are going for $40+
Leaves about $1260 for the rifle.
You can...
Its a CAA cheek riser and its legal. Also building a "Diplomat" 7.5" 5.56 upper for the pistol just waiting on the NSR 7 hand guard. The barrel in the pic is an 8.2" 300 BLK.
A little out of your way but for anybody closer Panacea in Decatur did an excellent Cerakote job on a rifle for me. I think it was about $130 for an upper, lower, and rail.
I have built 4 and still own three Noveske rifles. With the recent passing of John Noveske, prices being similar, I would take the Noveske all day.
