      Fort Wayne gun show 12/28 - 12/30

I hope Charlotte is right about being full. This show beats paying $4.00 for Fort Wayne Coliseum parking, plus the higher admission fee. The Fort Wayne show at K's has evolved into one that I really enjoy.

      Just joined the NRA

The NRA has clearly evolved over the years. Today they are a lobbying, not-for-profit corporation. They need to recruit good talented people for their cause, which for now is still my cause and many NRA member like me. That costs a lot of money. If you want the best, you have to be willing to...

What if they make AR's, AK's, and the like, NFA items?

The laws will always be written so that AMERICAN CITIZENS will always be allowed to own and shoot INFERIOR weapons. The lawmakers know hunters are crack shots and only need single shot rifles to hunt. Why would they want to risk disturbing the voters!

      Bushmaster company for sale

Cerberus Capital Management is a private equity firm. They are in the business of making capital for their clients, not manufacturing firearms. They feel the tide has turned and so it makes sense for them to place their investment money in companies with immediate growth. The recent events...

Gun Slingers gun shows have lost a customer.

Accidents happen. I picked up a pistol at a vendors table that had a magazine fully loaded. Not sure how all vendors guns get checked, if at all but, there appears to be room for improvement. This is the type of situation were there are accidental discharges. Sure the guy got red faced and...

      Waco, Texas

I'm amazed at how quickly the press has forgotten that it was Janet Reno, Bill Clinton, and our Government that burned down the compound in Waco, Texas as they attempted to save the women and children. A lot of people died that day, unnecessarily. The leader of that cult group may have been...

So what cool stuff did you use the "OMG OMG GUN BAN" as an excuse to buy?

I went to a few gun shops first thing this morning. There were many people buying guns and magazines. The traffic was heavy. The sellers were busy and happy.

      Question about the 1994 Ban

Even before the new federal law against high capacity magazines is written, There are still several States, like California that continue to have their existing laws still in effect that ban high capacity magazines.

Gun Slingers gun shows have lost a customer.

Those of us that go to gun shows are there for our enjoyment. Don't let one uneductated gate keeper ruin the pleasure for you and your son. Besides, that guy may be following orders. Things are going to get a lot worse for us before things improve.
