      Mossberg 500

From a recent experience, I can tell you to that if your forend is the new one-piece model (without the tube, and action bars integrated), you will probably not be able to replace it with an aftermarket replacement, such as those from Blackhawk (Knoxx). I currently have two of these sitting in...

      Midwest Gun Exchange

+1 for Midwest. They also have cool T-shirts. I also love their huge showroom and helpful staff.

Will a gun fire in space?

Have you never heard of a solid fuel rocket? Of course a modern sealed-cartridge firearm will operate just fine in space.

      -1 Kel-Tec Customer Service

After sending my PF9 back twice at my expense (the second time, it fell apart in my hands at the range), and not being able to make it through a mag of ammo when I got it back, I decided to shelve it. I may eventually contact Kel-Tec and tell them to send me some replacement springs so that I...

      IN-Ear plugs for shooting?

I'm pretty sure the instructions recommend that the channel plug be inserted for any shooting. The open channel is for loud music and such, not for stuff as damaging as gunfire.

      IN-Ear plugs for shooting?

I wear the Surefire ones while at the range, with the muffs over them when actually shooting. I used to wear E-A-R TaperFit2 plugs at work, but I developed impacted ear wax issues (VERY painful), and I decided to stop. I wear muffs there now. I'm into audio/visual production and music, and I...

      Carry in a company car?

Carry it on your person. They can search their vehicle anytime they please. You also never know if one day, out of the blue, they will decide to let someone else take it for a spin.

      Second Amendment March AAR Thread

I tried to PM you, but the system says I'm not special enough. I'd be glad to get you a hard copy (up to DVD res) or figure out a way to get you the full res version (sneakernet? It's pretty big.). Presently, all three versions (1080P, 720P, and SD-Wide) are encoded in MP4 on my hard drive...

      Second Amendment March AAR Thread

Um... no I didn't. I guess I kind of assumed an implied OK. It's a limited distribution video, so I'm not anticipating issues. I can always take it down if management disapproves.

      Second Amendment March AAR Thread

Here's a short video I compiled together from the march. Sorry I didn't get this uploaded sooner, I had some weird technical issues that caused it to be shelved for a while. The video is unlisted for now, but I might make it public in the near future. For now, anyone with the URL can view it...

An OC Guide to Protecting Your Rights: What to do when LEO stops you

What I was referring to are the roadside lawyers who argue case law on the side of the road. Traffic stops are dangerous. The less time that an officer has to spend in the middle of the road with cars speeding by, the better. If you disagree, take it to court. Arguing isn't going to change his...

I will try to meet you all in the main heliport parking lot before 1330 unless otherwise advised. I'll look for the men and women with the scary guns.

Realistic Gun Law Proposals, your thoughts

Allow honorably-discharged service members to keep their service rifles. The rifles would be registered to them, and they would not be allowed to transfer them except to an blood heir upon death, to a non-profit shooting education program, or to be destroyed.
