      It was green projection, it shut off as soon as it was laid down but would stay on if being held just an inch off the table, I can think of situations where I would not want to convey my position though but it was pretty cool.

      I have a gun enthusiast friend who picked up one of these and he is extremely happy with it, He shoots a lot (500 rounds per week) and he claims he can see true benefits of the design. he's a 1911 fan as well but he can't say enough good about his new rig. Just FYI

      I removed very little in the lapping process as I saw that it was true - 95% of the anodizing is still on the ring so I can't believe it caused the issue.
