Favorite shop, Peddler Firearms Columbus. Friendly, stock changes pretty much daily, will order anything you want, reasonable prices. They put up with me hanging around too!
Bite the Bullet, Mark is a nice guy, nice selection. Local
SOG Tomahawks for $20.00, SOG Machetes for $20.00, Plano rifle cases for $39.99. Every one of those is for sale for less than wholesale cost, far below MSRP of MAP let alone the Plano hard case retails for $146.99
This is why I HATE Walmart.
In a survival situation I would go for snares, a pound of snares is a lot more than a pound of traps.
Assorted snare sizes are easy to store in gallon size ziploc bags or coffee cans.
You can take small through larger game with them, set right catch is dead when you get to it.
Just my .02
I can't wait till they reintroduce the Farten, it is a cross between a Fisher and a Marten. It would be nice to see Farten here, I do believe that there are some here already. I haven't seen any but I have heard a few and they do give off a distinct odor.
Just took a cruise last month. NCL Sky, went to the Bahamas out of Miami FL. It was nice, one of the "Freestyle" cruise ships. We didn't do any excursions as part of the ship, we did our own thing when in port.
They charge $12.00 a day per person to cover tipping of crew. That was pretty much...
:D Yes I do, one of my favorite jobs!
I will agree with you on your observation. I look at some of them and think WTF? Desperation?
The second part of your observation is dead on too. How much money do we spend to process indigenous persons to go back?
