Got it!! Well, I didn't think it'd EVER happen, but it FINALLY did! It's here! Hubby and I both got our little pink pieces of paper today, on the same day. I was shocked about that because I have had one arrest, sort of a misunderstanding, but an arrest nonetheless. I don't know how to...

      Intermediate Pistol May 4 MCFG

Wonderful, wonderful class! Susan and I felt a little out of our league with the speed of everything, but we learned a lot and had a ton of fun. The notes you gave at the end were an incredible bonus for us. We've already added our own notes to it as reminders of what we need to work on and...

      Holster question...I need help

I seriously almost ordered from hooch, but I'm not a huge fan of all kydex holsters, I've always been drawn to the hybrids or all leather. So, as a review I got my Foxx holster today, wore it with my ruger all day around the house, empty out to grab a pizza (my licence hasn't arrived yet) and...

Wayne County's oldest WWII vet passed away tonight

Willie Southerland, Wayne County's oldest WWII vet passed away tonight about 5:40, he was nearly 98 years old. I've been blessed to be this man's neighbor for the past couple of years. About five weeks ago his dementia took a drastic turn and in 24 hours he went from nearly indipendantly...

      Holster question...I need help

Foxx Holsters is where I ordered from. They were a price I could afford (hopefully I will get a refund on the other) and they said they could get it to me within a week. I found good reviews on them.

      Holster question...I need help

Well, I'm extremely disappointed that this is the 'correct' holster. It's not just 'tight', I literally cannot even unholster the gun while it's on my belt, I have to take it off My belt, hold the holster and gun between my knees, and pull with just about everything I have. Obviously won't work...

To add, there aren't any tension screws on it, they're rivets.

      Holster question...I need help

I ordered a Fobus holster off Amazon for my Ruger SR40. I didn't realize until a couple days later that shipping estimate was 4 weeks out and it was coming from Israel. I have a class on May 4, so I was worried it wouldn't get here in time. Well, it arrived today (:rockwoot:) but when I...

      Women's shooting event- interested?

I though I would post this just in case anyone actually was interested. It's been an honor knowing this man. He's told us stories of actually traveling from Missouri to TN in a covered wagon. How many people alive today can say that...

      Women's shooting event- interested?

Mom22, I definitely plan on looking into this, I've just had no time. Indiana's oldest living WWII vet lives two houses down from me, and he's dying. It started almost three weeks ago when his dementia took a dramatic turn for he worse. His daughter and son in law don't drive, and the rest of...

Local woman starts chapter of The Well Armed Woman

Local woman starts chapter of The Well Armed Woman | www.daytondailynews.com Looks like it's actually in the Dayton area. Not sure why she didn't start it more in her own (Brookville) area. Still, it's the closest I've seen to me so I may have to check it out.
