Neat story....The only person I heard of that escaped the Death March.....

Not too many of those WWII heroes left. One of these days, the last of them will pass from the scene. If you meet one, thank them for their service.

North Central Indiana Meet And Eat

I know this is a long out of date thread, but any talk of another get-together for north central Hoosiers? Maybe a version 2.0 after the next Shot Show? It sounds like a lot of fun!

      What's Your Next Handgun?

Sig M11 A-1 for the win. At least that's where I'm leaning.

      Trail of Courage

We just moved back to north central Indiana after 15 years in Montana and Michigan. It slipped my mind this year, but I hope to make it in the coming one. Thanks for the heads up on the hot apple dumplings. I'm afraid that our family members are something of apple dumpling snobs, as my wife's...

      Who's buying the $1000 iPhone?

Still running the iPhone SE. It is my second, as I was experiencing battery issues with the first after four years. I'd rather spend my money on guns and ammunition!

Review: Tactical Response Fighting Pistol DVD

I know this is an old post. However, I wanted to encourage readers to take TR's Fighting Pistol and/or Advanced Fighting Pistol in Camden, Tennessee. While Yeager himself is a polarizing figure in the gun community, with folks drawn to him or avoiding him for various reasons, the quality of...

      Sig Sauer M11 A1

Thanks for the feedback. I typically run with Kydex holsters, so I'm not sure I'll have the same success as you did in not having to buy another holster. Here's my current EDC, plus a G26 that I ankle carry as a BUG:

What firearm did you purchase that was a waste of your money

Without a doubt, it was a Lorcin .380 that I picked up at a gun show in New Orleans some 25 years ago. I sold it a few months later to a guy who was also, at the time, too ignorant to know better.

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

I'm thinking of picking up an M11 A1 from my LGS. If I'm correct, it's essentially a P228. It looked lonely sitting on his shelf. What do you think of it? This would be my first Sig.

      Sig Sauer M11 A1

Lately, I've got a Sig Sauer itch. In order to scratch it, I'm thinking about moving a couple of my long arms and picking up an M11 A1 that's at my LGS. This would replace my Glock 19 as my EDC. Does anyone have personal experience with the M11 A1? What do you like or not like? Have you...

What's in your concealed carry line up?

I also ankle carry a Glock 26, which gives me magazine interchangeability.

What are you listening to right now?

My washing machine agitating, at the moment. I am something of a literalist, but not a troll!

I'm new and your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience.

It takes away a little bit of the sting of having to work toward the 50-post mark by just reading through this thread. Not only does it emphasize the positives of having such a rule in place, it also adds a little humor and tough love into the mix.
