I use the kitty litter with canning jars with material over the bottle mouth and just the outer ring holding the cloth in place. I put them in the gun safe and when they lose their blue color I put them in the oven and dry them out.
Works great, even in big areas like that!

Sorry, she would be armed but her primary job would be to keep the kids back and away from the action the best she can. If the intruder got through me, she is a very acomplished shooter as well.
I should add, if anybody wants an AR-15 style gun that uses AK-47 mags there is another choice with the Modular lower from MGI.
Now, they are on my **** list as I tried to buy a SBR and gave them a credit card number and my dealer info for them to but it on the books, and my dealer sent a...
No, I would not trust it either if my gun did that.
Just remember to put the blame where it belongs. The ammo or upper are to blame with what you describe, not the lower. That was my point.
I also see these as an nice to have after a person already has their AR-15s and AKs. I would never...
No reservations here, two quick shots to center mass and if they so much as look like a potential threat still the next round is in their head. Too much body-armor out there to take a chance that they are trying to catch their breath or pull another weapon.
Now, it would also depend on where...
Yes, empty mags! I treat my backup mags as an investment for my kids future. I have a number I use and then I have lots more packed away for barter in tough years in the future.
Well, a chamber issue has to do with the upper and Special Weapons never made their own uppers. I built mine using a Colt 7.62x39 upper and that upper has been used on the AR-47 in semiauto and on a normal AR-15 upper with AR-15 7.62x39 mags in full auto and it works great. Remember to blame...
I buy my emergency ammo pre-sealed
Still, I keep ammo in ammo cans as much as possible (Ammo cans are cheap so literally it is all in ammo cans) but I have been oiling gun magazines and putting them in zip-lock bags, I don't vacume them per-say but I do remove as much air as...
I have one of the original "Special Weapons" AR-47s and it is a very fun gun. I have some photos and a review of sorts posted here:

It works great and god knows AK-47 mags are cheaper andfar more reliable...
Yup, using the First Amendment to try to destroy the Second Amendment makes as much sense using our Second Amendment rights to crush their First Amendment rights that they are trying to use to crush our Second Amendment rights.

I vote we use our Second Amendment rights to crush their First Amendment rights that they are trying to use to crush our Second Amendment rights.
