It does work. It takes a little practice.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with a lot of experience with lube testing and I agree 100% with seedbubs!
I assemble the lower with Mobil shc 220 and the bcg with Mobil 1. These full synth greases are some of the slickest (lowest cf) out there and a film stays on the metal for a long time.
If you buy any "mil spec" lower it will work just fine.
The spec includes tolerances on all of the machining.
If the tolerances are held there should be no problems whatsoever.
If the tolerances are not held to spec it is defective and not to "mil spec".
The only differences between "mil spec"...
