      Best .22LR for the Kids

I think a single shot is the best thing to start a kid on. A semi auto is too dangerous.

      80% Lower, Polymer or Aluminum?

I have two. Very easy to machine and work well as long as you don't use them as an axe.

      My First 9mm

I have two of them, quality guns. Get some rubber grips, it makes a big difference, they are like 20 bucks.

      Snub nosed revolvers

I've gotten pretty good with my LCRX even with that short little barrel. Real easy to carry.

      Slide Fire for AK 47

It does work. It takes a little practice. I've got one, I just cant afford to use it. You could go through a $1,000 of ammo in a half hour!!!! I'll sell mine if anyone wants it.

Best NON-GLOCK 9mm full sized handgun

Big Walther fan here. They are the most ergonomic in my average size hands and very high quality.

Lube question from a new AR owner

I am a Mechanical Engineer with a lot of experience with lube testing and I agree 100% with seedbubs! I assemble the lower with Mobil shc 220 and the bcg with Mobil 1. These full synth greases are some of the slickest (lowest cf) out there and a film stays on the metal for a long time.

      AR lower differences?

If you buy any "mil spec" lower it will work just fine. The spec includes tolerances on all of the machining. If the tolerances are held there should be no problems whatsoever. If the tolerances are not held to spec it is defective and not to "mil spec". The only differences between "mil spec"...

I really like my Kel Tek Sub 2000, super cool looking, accurate and reliable.

Anybody been to National Gun Day in Louisville?

You can buy a long gun in KY and take it with you to IN but not a pistol.

      Shield Vs. PPS

If you look at the fit and finish and the precision of the machining, the PPS is super high quality.

      Small salt water pistol

Just looked up the Sig but $1,000 is too much for something to throw in a boat.

      Small salt water pistol

I just got a used 26ft fishing boat to keep at my place in Ft Myers. All the boaters there keep a gun on their boats. Im looking for something with a SS barrel and SS internals. Searching the manufactures sites, nothing is mentioned about materials used other than barrels and slides. Any...
