      I'm intrigued by the shadow techs: BACKUP HIKER CUB Any thoughts on how the quality of the steel and craftsmanship would compare with the ESEE Izula?

      Trust me, I don't WANT to defend myself with a 3 inch knife. I just want to be able to defend myself period, and that's the best option I see with DC's laws.

      An officer friend told me to hold the pink card out the window while the officer approaches the vehicle, so that he can see and think about it before you exchange words. It's a lot less awkward than some version of "I've got a gun".

      I've thought about a tactical pen as being the main alternative to a knife, but right now the Izula II in Desert Tan is leading the pack.
