      Garand Thumb on Youtube actually did a review on the EoTech past lawsuit and all the effort L3 has made. They have made vast improvements from what I've seen. Atleast theyve tried to make it right.

      No... side plates are ****ing dumb. Extra bulk for a small amount of protection is a crappy trade off. It sucks enough wearing a ruck with armor and going up a mountain.

      AR pistol upper 11.5 or 12.5?

      11.5 is the best balance between reliability and maneuverability as a pistol for 5.56... 10.3 is just over gassed and harder on parts

      You get what you pay for. I use an Ares Gear Aegis belt and its lasted me years. Its well worth the money. Try to get a belt that doesnt scream tactical....

      Have you considered saving up a tad bit more money for a better optic? If you're running a SPR I would really recommend a Vortex Razor 1-6. If youre military or LE you can get a hefty discount on some site from them. If not the Razor the Viper Ive seen alot of SF guys run over here over seas.
