Reasonable HOA's exist...as do overly intrusive ones. We purposely bought in a non-HOA neighborhood 18 years ago, and don't regret it. I watch the FB comments from the neighborhood next to ours WITH an HOA, and guess what? They have MORE issues because everyone wants a new rule, rather than...
We recently trashed a complete set of Calphalon that was less than 4 years old, after having replaced the griddle (twice) and the fry pan (THREE times) under warranty. Each time took them 4-6 months to send the replacement. We now have a $5.99 non-stick skillet, and a set of professional SS...
Yup - for anyone not familiar with 'em - you need to know that Progressive is about as anti-gun as they come, and contribute to the various anti-2nd groups routinely. So....you're giving them funding to use against ya.
I won't deal with 'em.
Primary - STI Elektra, with its' twin in the safe. Secondary - Sig P938 w/an Uncle Mike's #2 pocket holster. Actually have 3 of 'em - two are rotated, the third is just a spare I picked up.
Alternates......well, it depends on the occasion - I've got 30-40 that would qualify, includin' a...
Ummm.....ah happen to "be from here", and my FIRST question is - WHERE are ya gonna be huntin', and HOW? It's not out of the realm of possibility to have 3-500 yard shots, dependin' on where your huntin'. An' some folks down here hunt 'em out of a helicopter. Are you gonna be huntin' in...
Just keep on keepin' on......buy 'em when you have the extra coin - the pile can grow pretty quick, believe me! Had less than a dozen 18 years ago - amazin' how the gun budget grows when the kids are grown and gone!
Main thing is - I've got 'em across a wide spectrum of manufacturers - from...
Yessir.....same screen name - so you've likely seen some of the collection.<G>
I'll agree to an extent - especially all their fancy finishes - none of which are holding up. I've got a number of their early guns, includin' a Clackamas that several have tried to sweet-talk me out of....lol...
Not sure what price points you're seeing the 938's at, but generally $6-650 is the "sweet spot", but you can often spot 'em on sale for less. I actually got the very first one delivered to Texas (as verified by Sig when I registered the warranty), and I've yet to have any issues with it. When...
UPDATE: I FINALLY got the missing rear sight in about 3 months ago, installed it - and promptly sold it on GB......apparently, there's some folks out there that REALLY like 'em - got like $360 for it. Just glad it's gone!
Well - I AM closing in on 100 1911's....does that count? LOL
And then a Colt King Cobra, 6" 357 SS from 1998 pops up locally today.....yeah, add that to the stack, too....
