I carry a s&w model 60 as my bug(sometimes). I put the clipdraw on it so I don't need a holster. The only reason I only carry it sometimes is because I still haven't bobbed the hammer and that makes carrying it appendix style pretty ******* uncomfortable if you are a fat*** like me. Pocket carry...
I think it makes it worse that I was Infantry reserve. So we trained for the fight that never came. But anyways I don't wanna hijack the thread and make it all melancholy. Thanks to everybody who's welcomed me. It's nice to see there are other "gun nuts" in indy.:ar15:
I don't really consider myself a "vet". I was a reservist and never saw combat. When I think of vets it's the guys (or girls) who actually did something and I don't want to pretend or take anything away from them. Some gave all. All gave some.
I own and have carried my s&w model 60-14. It's a snubbie and I bobbed the hammer on it to stop snagging issues. Never owned a ruger but there is just something about s&w. Especially their revolvers.:cool:
