I'm not real familiar with the Glock magazines. But this is what I found on Ruger's website. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right ones.
* Older Glock® magazines that feature only one magazine latch slot may still be used with the PC Carbine™, but the magazine release button must...
Recently picked up a Ruger 9mm PC Carbine Take Down model. Looking to get some genuine Glock magazines for it. Anyone know if I need to be concerned with which Generation magazines it will accept?
Of course the biggest factors are how well you shoot each and reliability. I feel comfortable saying that both are reliable.
On the Glock side they all have the same basic look and feel. It is just a matter of proportions, caliber and Gen 3 or 4 in their double stack lineup. Of course...
When I refer to "reviewers" I mean sites or people who regularly post reviews and/or videos online. I can find good and bad reviews for just about any gun out there. I've noticed videos in August tend to rate more favorably than earlier ones with the R51 Rev 2. Remember the Rev 2 was not...
The way I see it, some folks are never going to even consider anything from Remington no matter what. Let's be honest, the company has suffered at a lot of bad business choices. And the quality that established them in the past suffered too with the change of hands. And this R51 is probably...
I bought one last week. Something about the way it looked and felt kept nagging at me to buy one. I went out to Plainfield Shooting Supplies and Bob had them in stock for $359. Needless to say temptation got the better of me at that price. I hope to get out sometime this week to shoot it.
Does the 17 round Mec-Gar magazine come with the plastic base plate? It looks like it does in the pics.
And thanks for all the advice and for recommending that Greg Cote site to me. The prices are generally really good on there. And I love the flat rate shipping fee. A lot of sites seem...
With the Mec-Gar's I see 16 round flush, 17 round flush and 19 round extended. Are there any issues with the 17 round flush magazines? I've seen other makes for other guns that cram an extra round in and users complain about them not working right.
Crap. I just went back and found that I read the price wrong. I was wondering why that sounded like such a sweet deal after looking at prices elsewhere. I shows the magazines and all the description info. Then I scrolled on down and saw the $28 price. But that is for some rubber bumpers for...
Any suggestions or opinions on magazines for a CZ75B? I see where I can buy factory ones from CZ 3 for $28. And I see Mec-Gar makes a few variations for it. Then there are the Pro-Mags. I've read many a post saying steer clear of them though on other guns.
If you're still looking over .380's, I would definitely recommend you have her try out a Sig P238. There are other good .380's out there. But for someone having trouble with racking the slide, the P238 is hard to beat. My mother had the same problem. She isn't the Spring chicken she once was...
Any input on the Springfield 1911 MC Operator? I found a good deal on one and it does look cool. But I don't know if looks are enough to make me actually buy it. Is it much better than the Springfield 1911 Loaded? It costs about $250-300 more than the Loaded.
I too have bigger hands. So it isn't easy finding a small gun that fits and feels right. I check Point Blank in Greenwood this weekend. They had a NIB one for retail sale that I got to look at. I do have a couple of XDm Compacts that I prefer to carry with the compact magazines with Pearce...
I'm down south of Indy a little ways. But I'm all over Central Indiana with my job, though mainly in the metro area. Unfortunately I am on call this weekend. I'm hoping to swing by a few shops soon to see if anyone has one of them P99C AS guns in stock so I can look at it. And I'm definitely...
