I went and wore my INGO shirt. I saw the same others did; about 20 protesters. There were 2 counter protesters whose sign said to honk if you love guns or something to that effect. There was lots of honking.
The protesters were there long enough to get their pictures in the paper and score some...
So is there a general consensus?
Go to the show to support it and our 2A, avoid the sqaure, protest, and getting baited into something the media would love?
Open AR carry?
I can be there either Saturday or Sunday but not both. I also have a neighbor and possibly another that will go to the show/may carry. Problem is they don't have an AR. i can let them borrow mine and I could carry my Yugo SKS.
Big scary bayonet and GRENADE LAUNCHER!!!
Not sure if this is where this should go, but I just read on FB there's a planned protest at the CP gun show March 3rd and 4th.
I haven't been to the show in a while but I'll attend this one.
My son and I had a great time.
I feel like we had more in attendance this year then last. Many were jumping back in line, which to me means we were doing things right and they were enjoying themselves.
The communication on the 25 yrd range between the coaches (myself included) and the RO was...
Jedi I'll take a 25yd bench again with no date preference. Will donate 7.62 and some $$. I'm sure one or both of my kids can serve as ammo runners (or anywhere else needed) as well.
I'll volunteer again. I was on the 25yd range last year and would like to do that again, but will do whatever is needed. As we get closer I'll also figure out ammo donations.
I will be there, BUT because I have to go straight to work I will not be bringing any firearms. From what I had read they were not needed.
I will bring a cooler with ice.
